Equisocks has no adjustable straps, tape or fasteners therefore the element of human error whilst applying is removed. Uneven bandaging often causing bow risk is also minimized.

Equisocks are UV resistant, the yarn opaqueness meets this criteria with a blend of 64% polyester, 28% polyamide and 9% elastane.

With the help of equine physicians and veterinarians, Equisocks was developed to meet this need.

Equisocks replace clunky leg bandages. Simply pull them onto your horse's legs to help prevent stocking up, reduce joint swelling and provide support and comfort after exercise or during recovery. Sold in pairs to assist load bearing and ensure even compression is applied.

ABOUT EQUISOCKS

Designed to protect against skin irritation and reduce bandage rub, Equisocks are stretchable, breathable, offer moisture control and dissipate heat. This advanced cooling yarn is a quick drying moisture wicking fabric, made of a proprietary blend of fibers infused with a non-toxic and safe silver based anti-microbial and anti-bacterial agent. The yarn also helps regulate the temperature in the horses's leg keeping it cooler and reducing heat buildup. Each sock is designed using gradient compression technology which provides varying levels of pressure along the sock with a loose fit over the pastern offering an average 25mmHg of compression at the fetlock joint when applied to a mildly swollen leg. Equisocks remain in position as swelling decreases and allows full joint mobility. This allows the socks to be worn for longer periods without any risk.

About Us

Our Story

Our story began during lockdown when we had to make a simpler yet more effective choice around wrapping due to restrictions. Much thought alongside ideas were brain stormed and dealing with a personal injury where compression stockings were used as a successful aid on ourself, the answer was right infront of us. We developed the same technique for our equine, tried and tested over 2 years and finally blown away by the results. Hence, Equisocks was born.
